Superb day out, lots to see and do. Plenty of nature trail walks, animals, playgrounds and some indoor play areas too. Cafe and ice cream parlour on site for food and drink but plenty of picnic tables if you bring a packed lunch. Don’t forget to bring some pound coins for the rides! Can’t wait to return. Had an amazing day at the park yesterday. The children absolutely loved it, as did the adults. Lots to do, in fact so much we need to go back for the nature and tree walking, den building and the round house which we didn’t get round to due to having fun with the animals. My son is autistic and the staff where amazing with him. They ensured he got to experience everything in a way that suited him, whilst also catering for my very eager daughter. The younger staff are a credit to them and it was wonderful to see a company giving opportunities to everyone. We will be visiting more often. Absolutely visit xxx Katherine C May 2022

Great place. Had a fab day here for our dons birthday. Staff are friendly and helpful, great range or activities for the kids, new playarea is great. Our kids favourite things were the barrel ride, kinetic stand stations and holding the baby chicks. Jack P – June 2021

Hidden gem! Great place to take children. Good safe play area, zip wires, tractor rides, chick holding, rare breeds, walks, cafe, shop selling farm produce, ice cream and more. All sustainably produced with renewable energy. The staff were all happy and friendly. Easy parking too. Good for several hours of fun. David G – June 2021

Anona in the office was fantastic with her correspondence and especially helpful regarding changing the date of our stay due to covid restrictions. We stayed at a pod and were kindly placed opposite friends so we could socialise without disturbing the other visitors too much. The pods were small but very clean and had helpful hooks for storage as well as lights and a double socket and a curtain for the door (although not for the window, but this wasn’t a problem) The facilities were immaculately clean and the shower was fabulous (a normal one rather than one of these short, press the button and hope for the best type). The camp site has a climbing frame, swings and slide which entertained the kids well. The fire pit/bbq entertained the men. Access to the animal park was a great idea meaning we didn’t have to go off site. The kids loved the barn with kinetic sand, tractors to ride and basketball. They also got the chance to hold a chick and guinea pigs. The larger animals were spread out well so there was a decent amount of walking (lots of dirt paths so take more than flip flops!) The large play area was fantastic. As always the sunshine made all the difference to our weekend and I’m not sure how enthusiastic we’d have been in torrential rain but that’s the nature of camping in the UK! All in all a brilliant weekend away and we’ll definitely return, possibly to the lodge which looks amazing! Thanks for a great stay ???? Anonymous – June 2021

Thanks for a lovely day (16 July 2020). I thought that all your staff were very helpful and welcoming, and doing a great job to make your visitors welcome during the currently covid problems. All the facilities were open and working well and we all had a great time. You have got a lovely site and fascinating animals, all looking contented and very well looked after. We will certainly be coming back!! I don’t do TripAdvisor, Facebook or other social media, but I’d be happy if you every wished to quote my comments in any of your PR or advertising if you think it would be useful. Just want to say a massive thank you for today. We all enjoyed the day very much, despite the rain. Oliver thoroughly enjoyed the barrel/tractor ride and for not even being 2 he wasn’t phased by it at all and was nice to be able to walk at the side of him. Although he did let his feelings show when it came to the end and he had to get out. He was not impressed haha.
